It’s a good thing I’m coming to the end of the army’s aerial photos from the 1930s because I may be running out of things to say. February 1936, looking at lower Manhattan from above Brooklyn. The three tallest buildings, left to right, are 40 Wall Street, 70 Pine Street, and Woolworth; the wedding cake on river is 120 Wall. And almost hidden, off to the left…
