A Mid-Sized Storm

Unlike eastern Long Island, Rhode Island, and eastern Massachusetts, New York got off fairly lightly this past weekend. Our total was about 8 inches of snow, which is not nothing and was accompanied by some strong winds and well-below-freezing temperatures, but this was, here, simply not that bad. But it’s still worth memorializing in the ephemeral form of a blog post. First, the light flurries on Friday before the main storm hit:
