I recently got an email reminding me that, as a Certified B Corp located in New York City, Old Structures is automatically a finalist in the Best for NYC Challenge. This isn’t just a pat on the head: by completing the B Impact Assessment and getting a score that made it possible for us to be a B Corp, we passed basically the same test as the companies that are taking the Challenge now. So, we have earned the right to use this:
Our company may not be literally the best in the city – there are some two million small businesses in New York State and 190,000 in the city – but we’re proud of what we’ve accomplished and proud to be part of the Challenge.
