Before the new World Trade Center, before the old World Trade Center, the west side of Church Street had the twin towers of the Hudson Terminal Buildings. They were the terminal for the Hudson and Manhattan Tubes, now known as the PATH train.
We’re looking southwest across the roof and chimneys of the Astor House hotel and St. Paul’s Chapel.
