On the left, the original brick high parapet from the 1910s. On the right, the side of a roof bulkhead for a new stairwell installed in the 1990s. There is no toothing between new and old masonry, and there are no metal ties.
I wonder why there’s a crack.
I may make this a series, but, honestly, it’s so depressing.
