It Looked Familiar: Oblique

In the foreground bottom three quarters of the view, Bucky Barnes – the Winter Soldier – gets up to some shenanigans.

The upper quarter is a little bit obscure, but if you don’t get it, look in the long view on the left, just below the weird plane. That’s the Chrysler Building, with the top of the spire breaking the frame. Here’s a long view of Chrysler:

The most famous of the car-inspired1 ornament on the building are the eagles, based on hood ornaments, near the top:

There are winged inverted cones that are apparently based on old radiator covers. And that’s the thing we’re seeing in the top of the comic-book view. The adjacent brick ornament is supposed to be a series of cars, and we’re seeing their front ends with the front hubcaps highlighted in stainless steel.
