Old Structures is hiring. We are looking for an engineer to join our team and work on building alteration, renovation, restoration, and investigation projects in and around New York. The descriptions below are for two different jobs, depending on who applies, but we will be hiring one person.

Old Structures Engineering is an innovative and growing firm located in the Financial District of Manhattan. We specialize in work on existing structures, particularly historic buildings like the one our office is located in. More information can be found at http://www.oldstructures.nyc.
Our engineers work on projects from the beginning (usually on-site investigation) through design, detailing, and construction. When a project is completed, you’ll be able to say it was your project.

Engineer
Qualifications for the job:
- a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in civil engineering (structures concentration), structural engineering, or architectural engineering (structures concentration).
- Zero to three years work experience in structural investigation, design and analysis for buildings.
- Experience with CAD and structural analysis.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
Salary offered will be commensurate with experience, $76,000 to $79,800 for entry level.
Project Manager
Qualifications for the job:
- a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in civil engineering (structures concentration), structural engineering, or architectural engineering (structures concentration).
- Up to ten years work experience in structural investigation, design and analysis for buildings.
- Experience with building investigation, report creation, CAD, structural analysis detailing, and creation of full CD drawing sets, project management.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
Salary offered will be commensurate with experience, $87,400 to $123,500.
