Now that warm weather is here, time for some almost-spring pictures I should have posted a month ago.
The picture above is a pile of wood-chip mulch in Battery Park, deposited there (and photographed) in February and, presumably, soon to be spread around. Below, a view of Albany in late February from the bridge to Rensselaer, with the Hudson River completely frozen over.

A year ago, when it got warm, I wasn’t outside much. So walking around without a jacket is a treat.
