It Looked Familiar: Triangulation

Above, a rooftop conversation from Marvel Comics. The roof we’re standing on is nondescript except for the antenna on the right, which I suspect may not be real. It isn’t readily apparent on Google Earth, anyway. The buildings in the distance are instantly identifiable:

A. On the left, with the square hip roof, is the federal courthouse at 40 Centre Street.

B. The wide building with the complex tower partially blocking 40 Centre is the Municipal Building.

C. The blocky tower to the is the Verizon switch building at 375 Pearl Street.

D. And the lower, light gray building behind the Municipal Building is the NYPD headquarters.

Putting them on a map:

So we’re on the west side of Broadway, probably at 250 Broadway (in front of Aahar Indian Cuisine) or the smaller buildings on the next block to the north. Any further north and 40 Centre isn’t blocked by the Municipal Building; any further south and 40 Centre won’t be visible.
