(It is surprisingly difficult to find a good view of the ship from the rear. The front three-quarter view is the dramatic cutting-through-the-waves view, as well as being somehow less creepy.)
Given how similar Olympic was to Titanic, the comic could be either one, except that Olympic was still in service in 1929 and Titanic was…not. Ships are like buildings: their profiles tend to be either unique or part of a small family of siblings. The profile of Olympic and Titanic is unmistakeable.
