The photo is from 2019, so this comment is a bit delayed, but that’s an example of a modern facade that does a good job of matching the feel of the ornamental industrial facades of the nineteenth-century buildings in SoHo.

As it happens, that’s a new facade on an existing building, but what we’re seeing is all new. I’ve never ha d a problem with new buildings or modern architecture; I have problems with bad new buildings and poorly-designed modern architecture.
