From this week’s short trip to Albany, an old building there facing Broadway. We’re looking at the back and a lot-line side. This building has obviously been modified again and again, but we have some traces of it’s missing neighbor: The two chimney flues projecting from the side wall and, at the second and third floor levels, remnants of the old joist pockets.
